San Morello is not my favorite for the money, and the decor is not really my style, even though it is undeniably nice. But that is a fresh, fresh pizza pie, the room is polished, and plenty of people love the place. It belongs on the list, especially for visitors who want dinner in the middle of downtown.
Shop Woodward, get a pizza at San Morello, then pick the after-dinner bar by mood: Evening Bar or Saksey’s for polished cocktails, Queens for easygoing, or Bad Luck for an ambitious splurge.

Value is the priority, or you want a room with more grit and less hotel polish.
