Saint Andrew's Hall
My favorite small venue in Detroit. Legendary, intimate, and still full of the charm that made it matter.
Saint Andrew’s, man. What more can I say? Eminem, Jack White, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, the Smashing Pumpkins—the list goes on. Even after the renovation, it kept its charm. There’s no other small room in Detroit where I’d rather see a favorite band.
Make your way toward the stage. Saint Andrew’s is at its best up close and personal. If you ever get the chance to see a show downstairs at The Shelter, take it.
A band you love is playing and you want to be right in the middle of it.
The band you want to see is playing somewhere else. You don’t really choose the room—the band does.
