Cork & Gabel
A polished Corktown option with solid food and drinks in a prime Michigan Central location—but it is pricey and not my first choice.
I’ve had a few solid meals at Cork & Gabel, and the drink program holds up. It is pricey, and if I am choosing freely, it is not my first Corktown call. Still, the location does a lot of work: Michigan Central is right there, Six Spoke is next door, and Sugar House can take over afterward. Think of it as a useful option for building a full Corktown night, not the automatic answer.
Start or finish with a beer next door at Six Spoke. Keep Michigan Central in the plan, then end at Sugar House.
You want a sit-down Corktown meal with drinks and easy options before and after.
