Union Assembly
The third floor is it for me. If it's closed, I turn around.
NOAH’S TAKE
The upper-floor patio or terrace is what I come for, especially in warm weather. This is an ideal pregame spot for the Tigers, Lions, or anything at LCA. If you know the Union Joints restaurants, you'll recognize the comfort-food approach. I usually get the Detroit-style pie: personal size for me, anyway. Four corners, baby.
THE MOVEDETROIT-STYLE
Check that the upper-floor terrace is open, then get the Detroit-style pie before the game.
GO HERE WHEN
You want a warm-weather terrace before a Tigers, Lions, or LCA event.
MAYBE NOT WHEN
The upper floor is closed. That's the reason I come.
GOOD TO KNOWUnion Assembly sits between Detroit’s arena district and its major downtown performance venues.
TERRACE ACCESSCall ahead to confirm upper-floor terrace access; the venue does not publish a separate terrace schedule on its website.
