Vecino hit me the way Takoi did on my first visit. My wife and I looked at each other halfway through dinner and said it felt like we'd left Detroit. It made me think of Mexico City—though I've never been. Amazing drinks, an open kitchen, and the first truly elevated Mexican meal I'd experienced. One of the best date spots in Detroit. Period.
